Tony Crehan was the former Executive Director (CEO) of Independent Schools Tasmania from 2003, until his retirement in 2025.

Previously, Tony worked for 40 years in the corporate world as an executive, board member and chair of public and private companies and as a management consultant.

He has knowledge, skills and long experience in:

• Governance, Finance, Compliance and Risk Management, 
• Education, 
• Strategic planning and development, 
• Government, community and stakeholder engagement (including for NFPs and charities).
